Bag Books aims to enhance the lives of children and adults with learning disabilities through the use of multi-sensory books.

Our key activities are: the design and production of a range of multi-sensory books; providing specialist multi-sensory storytellers; and training others (parents, carers, librarians and teachers) in multi-sensory storytelling technique.

  • Arranging story-telling sessions to children and adults.

  • Bag Books was the first - and is still the only - organisation in the world publishing multi-sensory stories for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities.
  • Each year we reach around 15,000 children and adults with learning disabilities.
  • We were runner-up in the “Success Stories 2007” awards run by the London Voluntary Service Council.
  • In June 2010 we made our 10,000th book
