Since 1990, the LDCIG has supported and integrated children and young people who have a range of physical and emotional difficulties in the Lancaster district. Through integrating these children and young people in everyday activities on our unique projects, they have the chance to engage in experiences they usually wouldn't have access to, and their families enjoy some respite.

  • Provide support during holiday periods for children and young people with severe/complex physical/emotional needs
  • Provide respite for parents and carers of aforementioned children and young people
  • Provide employment for Support Workers and opportunities for Volunteers
