Whitgift Special Needs Activity Project (SNAP) exists to provide an opportunity during school holidays for young people between the ages of 5 and 25, with physical and learning disabilities, living in the London Borough of Croydon, to experience a wide range of sporting and leisure activities in a multi-cultural environment - many for the first time - whilst encouraging a sense of independence and self confidence.

  • Summer 2005: Up to 90 young people participated in our flagship scheme on a daily basis.
  • Summer 2005: All our young people were allocated one whole week on our flagship scheme, for the first time ever.
  • Winter 2005: Whitgift SNAP and Croydon Council are setting up a pilot scheme for young people with learning difficulties aged between 18 - 25.
