How to help this charity (Additional information provided by charity)

Like any small charity, our village hall can always find a use for extra finance. And you can rest assured that 100% of any donation received goes towards making the village hall an even better place for all who use it - there are no admin costs that part of the donation would go to, as might happen with some larger charities. If you do feel able to make a donation - whatever the size - please send it to Ian Hart (Secretary to the Village Hall Trustees), 3 Lower End, Thornborough, MK18 2DE (01280 815356).

Another way you can help the village hall finances, whilst having a bit of fun at the same time (and perhaps making some money!) is to join one of our two 49 Clubs. This works very simply. You agree to donate just £5 per month, and you are given one of the spare numbers between 1 & 49. The winning numbers each month are the Bonus Ball numbers in the National Lottery on the last Wednesday and Saturday draws of the month, and the owners of those two winning numbers each receives £150 - not bad for your £5 monthly donation!!!

The 49 Clubs are very popular, because they not only provide two lucky winners each month with £150, but at the same time the donations provide a critical income for the village hall. As a few people have recently left the village, we do currently have a few spare numbers. We would be really grateful if you could take one of these. If you would like to do so, please phone Bernard Garbe, our Chairman, on 01280 814434.

Of course, the most important way to help the charity is to make use of the hall. The very competetive charges are detailed below:-
