UNICEF UK's objectives are to fund and support the work of UNICEF (the United Nations Children's Fund) which works for children in over 150 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and the rest of the world. UNICEF UK works to support children affected by war, natural disasters, AIDS and every other kind of crisis, providing everything from the basics like therapeutic food for children who are malnourished, to immunisation, safe water, health, protection, education, counselling and support for those children affected by poverty or in difficulty. UNICEF UK also works to change attitudes and win support for children's rights worldwide by campaigning amongst the public and government in the UK and raising money from companies, grant-giving organisations and the general public.
