How to help this charity (Additional information provided by charity)

Horizons has many oportunities for volunteers to be active in the provision of sailing activities for the disadvantaged and disabled young people we assist. You do not have to be able to sail, you can help with fundraising, launching boats get equipment ready and at the end of the season help with the maintenance. We have "friends" that help in all sorts of fundraising activities you do not have to commit a great deal of time to help us, we are very greatful for any time given in support. We have a corporate volunteers scheme that encourages companies large and small to get involved in helping whether financial or loaning manpower and staff. Horizons does not get any money from local authority or govenment departments therefore relys upon the goodwill of individuals and the general public to maintain the services we provide.
