National disability charity Vitalise (formerly Winged Fellowship Trust) provides approximately 7,000 breaks for disabled adults, children and carers every year. The charity operates five accessible UK Centres – based in Cornwall, Nottingham, Southport, Essex and Southampton. Each Centre runs an extensive programme of short breaks for disabled people in a holiday setting. Vitalise provides 24-hour personal support and care on-call from staff and volunteers in a relaxed environment, as well as an extensive programme of trips and activities and a range of special theme weeks to choose from throughout the year.

The essence of Vitalise is freedom and choice. Vitalise aims to contribute to the wellbeing of disabled and visually impaired people, carers and families, by providing access to a wide range of services, both in the UK and overseas. Vitalise believes that disabled people should have the same rights, freedoms, responsibilities and quality of life as those without disabilitie
