How to help this charity (Additional information provided by charity)

Animal Concern Cumbria welcomes help from people who support its aim of finding good homes for unwanted or neglected animals. Building on a generous bequest specifically for the purpose, it is also the aim of the charity to establish an animal sanctuary in the area and we will also welcome offers of support to achieve this aim. Please contact the treasurer, Jim Hewitson (jhewitson@btinternet.com) if you would like to make a donation or if you would like to include the charity in your will.

Many people worry about what will happen to their pets when they themselves die. You can make provision in your Will to ensure that your pets are taken into the care of Animal Concern Cumbria whose members will, according to your wishes, either look after them themselves or arrange to find a suitable new home. If you let us know you have made these arrangements we will confirm in writing our commitment to you and your pets.

We do not make a charge but we do of course need funds to carry out this work and we hope that you will consider a legacy to Animal Concern Cumbria.
